Therapy should be safe, inviting, and unconditional, and I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the key to helping you create your most authentic self.
My promise is to provide a safe and caring environment by being authentic, truly listening to whatever is on your mind, and gently guiding you towards deeper exploration.
Maybe you’ve tried therapy before, and it’s helped for a little bit, but you find yourself falling into patterns of the past. Maybe you’ve never tried therapy and find yourself thinking deeply about your internal world. Therapy with me will help guide you towards clarity and understanding of yourself, while providing meaningful change in the day-to-day function of your life.
I won’t pull out a handbook; we won’t be filling out worksheets. We’ll tailor our journey together to your individual needs, which will help you grow to become your most authentic self.
By joining with me in therapy, we will be travelers journeying side by side, exploring your past memories and unconscious mind. You hold the map and are aware of the terrain, but much of it is still uncharted. I carry the lamp, illuminating hidden or forgotten patterns, connections, and emotions. Together, we begin to accurately chart what makes you who you are, and by doing so, create healthier ways of interacting with the world. As we journey onward, new possibilities and paths will emerge, guiding you towards deeping growth and understanding of yourself.
I know that it can be nerve-wracking to reach out to a therapist without knowing much about them, so with that in mind, here is a little more information about me: I graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s of Science, and MidAmerica Nazarene University with a Masters of Arts in Counseling, Mental Health Emphasis. I practice from a secular and non-religious perspective, and welcome all backgrounds, beliefs, and diversities.
You belong here, and I’m excited to get to know you personally! Additionally, I’m a member of Chi Sigma Iota, an international honor society that values both academic and professional excellence in counseling. In my free time, I love spending time with family, reading just about any book genre out there (although two of my favorites are fantasy and romance), and enjoying a great cup of coffee.
I invite you to take the first step towards a more fulfilling and authentic life. Contact me today to schedule a consultation and begin your journey towards self-discovery and meaningful change. Let's work together to unlock your potential and create the life you envision.

My primary passion is to work with individuals who have experienced relational trauma, whether it be from a parent, partner, friend, or peer. Such experiences can leave us feeling withdrawn, often accompanied by fears of abandonment, criticism, or judgment. Over time, this can create a fragile sense of self and leave us feeling unworthy, misunderstood, or disregarded.Using a psychodynamic approach, I work to uncover the underlying patterns and past experiences that influence current behavior and relationships.
To better explain this approach, imagine your mind as a colossal, ancient library. This library has countless floors filled with books, each containing memories and experiences from your life. Some books are at the front of the library, easily visible, well-organized, and familiar. These represent your conscious thoughts and feelings, the ones you engage with every day. For example, you might find a book about a cherished memory that sparked your love for a favorite hobby. But as you venture deeper into the library, you’ll discover older, dusty books—some may even be hidden in locked vaults beneath the floor. These represent your unconscious mind, memories, and experiences you might not be fully aware of. One of these books might tell the story of a time you felt neglected, which has shaped your life in ways you don’t realize.
Creating a safe, supportive space where you feel truly accepted is my greatest priority. Together, we’ll gently explore the library of you, uncovering and examining these hidden books. This foundation of trust allows us to explore your experiences deeply and work toward meaningful, lasting change. By understanding how your forgotten stories influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors today, we can foster healing and personal growth.
